Healthy Turkey Roll Ups

Toddlers are notoriously picky eaters - at least mine is. So, when I come up with a meal that is healthy, easy to prepare, and that my 16 month old will actually eat, I know I need to hold onto it. In case you’re in the same boat, here’s a simple lunch or snack idea that is not only easy and tasty for toddlers, but that the whole family can enjoy.

You’ll Need:

  • 3-4 slices turkey or chicken breast (I use Maple Leaf Natural Selections, which is preservative free)

  • 2 tbsp. hummus (whichever flavour you prefer)

  • A handful of spinach

How to Prepare:

  1. Lay each slice of turkey or chicken flat. Spread a healthy helping of hummus on each slice.

  2. Add a few leaves of spinach on top of the hummus.

  3. Starting at one end, roll each slice tightly and serve.

  4. Enjoy!
